What is DSPM?
DSPM stands for “Data Security Posture Management”: regularly checking where sensitive data is located, who can access it and whether it is encrypted and backed up. Many companies only know this roughly – data ends up in folders, backups and shares that nobody keeps track of any more.
Why it matters
GDPR and NIS2 require you to know your data and protect it appropriately. An overview of storage locations, access and safeguards is the foundation for this – and helps you react quickly and correctly in an emergency.
How we work
The review runs in five steps. At the end you receive a report in plain language.
1. Discover
We record the servers, storage locations, databases and shares agreed with you.
2. Classify
We mark where personal or confidential data is stored, such as customer data, contracts or credentials.
3. Check access
We check who can access this data and find shares that are too broad or public.
4. Check protection
We check encryption, backups and retention – and whether a restore actually works.
5. Report and measures
You receive an overview with priorities and concrete steps. On request, we implement the measures together with you.
